 Behind the product: 
 We have spent quite a bit of time finding the right place to supply the bamboo straws because ethical production is the cornerstone of the TerraMavi philosophy! 
We only harvest our base plants from places where it is redundant and work hand-in-hand with small local farms and local artisans. Our meticulous search for the right place to harvest ended up working with a local farmer family from Indonesia, Bali. 
 
Our Bali farm artisans find an eco-friendly cleaning brush for straws made from a wild plant.
Our sisal brushes are a greener alternative to standard nylon bristle brushes. 
 
We have tried using coconut fiber bristles but it did not give effective results. 
We are committed to providing the best product with the best value. Therefore, we are glad to offer you a better brush than coconut fiber or nylon bristles.
